General account opening requirements
What are the requirements for opening a Personal Current Account?
To open a Personal Current Account, you will need the following documents:
• Valid identification, such as a national I.D. card, passport, or driver’s license. It should be valid for at least 6 months
• Valid proof of address, such as utility bills, bank statements, or salary slips. The documents should not be older than 2 months
• Proof of income
• Valid residence permit (applicable for non-Dutch passport holders)

What are the requirements for opening a Corporate Account?
To open a Corporate Account, you will need the following documents:
• Articles of incorporation
• Certified Extract Chamber of Commerce (CoC) which should not be older than 30 days
• Shareholders register
• UBO declaration form
• Corporate Holding structure (if applicable)
• Company licenses
• Valid ID (Sédula, driver’s license, passport) of all stakeholders mentioned in the articles of incorporation and CoC and UBO
• Valid proof of address of all stakeholders (mentioned in the articles of incorporation and CoC UBO
• Valid residence permit (applicable to non-Dutch passport holders)
• Financial statements (may be requested afterward)

• Minimum of ANG 25 should be deposited into the account
• “Trouwboek”, “Familieboek”, or a government-issued document which states that you are the legal parent or guardian
• Birth certificate (“geboorte-uittreksel”) of the minor
• Valid identification, such as a national I.D. card, passport, or driver’s license of one parent or guardian. It should be valid for at least 6 months
• Valid proof of address, such as utility bills, bank statements, or salary slips. The documents should not be older than 2 months

What is the minimum age for applying for a loan?
18 years old
Is there a minimum or maximum amount I can borrow?
For personal loans the minimum amount is ANG 2,000.00 and the maximum is ANG 30,000.
For Mortgages there is no minimum or maximum amount. However, each request will be assessed based on the borrower’s financial situation.

What are the required documents?
Can I sign my loan request/contract alone or does my spouse/partner have to co-sign?
1. 1. If you will be solely responsible for the repayment of the loan, your spouse or partner does not have to co-sign.
2. If two persons are responsible for the repayment of the loan, both persons will have to sign.
3. 1. If you will be solely responsible for the repayment of the loan but have a guarantor, your guarantor must also sign the contract.

How long does it take to pay off a loan?
It depends on the type of loan and on the commitment signed with the Bank.
Where can I fill out an application form?
You can fill out an application form at PSB Bank Schottegatweg Noord 24 (Goisco building) from 08:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.
If I paid off my debt on time, can I get another loan?
Yes, depending on your present situation and credit history.
What should I do if I have a problem with my payments?

What should I do if I need additional funds while I’m repaying a loan?
You can call or visit us at our office to apply for additional funds. If you meet our requirements, we will supply you with the funds.
How many years should I work before applying for a loan or a mortgage?
You must have a minimum of 1 year in permanent service
I am a retiree. Can I apply for a loan?
Yes, depending on your income.
